PRESSIE of the Isles
Michigan is possibly one of the most active regions in the Midwest and
quite possibly the United States for strange creatures.
It is home to many sightings of Big Foot (Sasquatch), Demon Dogs,
Dogmen and a Mystical Black Panther to name just a few.
But few creatures evoke curiosity like the lake serpent Pressie.
Pressie roams the waters off of the Isles of Presques on Lake Superior.
Sightings date back to the 1880's . Most of these sightings remain
undocumented with just a scattering of photographs. The most recent was
published in 2004.
The most startling evidence is possibly the familiar description and locale.
Pressie is often described as a serpent , about 75 feet long in length with
a horse shape head. It is often described as dark green , gray or even
black in color.
Most Cryptozoologist would agree that the resemblance is uncanny to
several other sightings around the world....including Lochness, Ogle and
Lake Champlain to name a few.
